The time has come to begin lining up volunteers for RambleGRUE 4!

Why volunteer?

RambleGRUE runs on a combination of staff, volunteer, and attendee participation. By volunteering, you are agreeing to take a more structured roll in how you engage with RambleGRUE. In addition, volunteering means we are able to offer you a discounted ticket, which is one of the ways we strive to keep RambleGRUE accessible for as many people as possible.

Working to create a space like RambelGRUE takes a large team of committed people. Building and creating a Ramblewood event is no easy undertaking and we are grateful to the many people who have helped us build in the past or have lent us their expertise and guidance as we built it.

We expect that anyone who attends RambleGRUE to adhere and respect the policies of the event but we expect our volunteers to model those policies to the larger community. Please see those policies here and reach out with any questions.

The Details

This year, we have the following volunteer positions available: Front Desk/GRUE Floater; Set up; Break Down; Registration; PlaySpace Attendant; and Medical. Expectations for each volunteer position are available on our Volunteer Application.

Every volunteer is asked to work 8 hours in exchange for a $110 ticket to all four days at camp, which includes lodging, and meals. Volunteers will be accepted on a rolling basis until all spaces are full, so hurry up and get your application in now! If all positions are full, we may ask to add you to a waitlist, but you are encouraged to purchase your ticket in case a volunteer spot does not open up.

How do I apply?

Fill out our volunteer application here! You should hear back within a week of applying; please feel free to reach out at organizers@ramblegrue.org if you have not gotten a response in that timeframe. Make sure you get your application in early; these spots fill up quickly!
