This group is open to anyone who has time to commit between February and September 2018 to help plan RambleGRUE 4. The goal of the group is to provide a platform for a more community-centered organization that can create the most fun, educational, and inclusive event possible for attendees.
The Sounding Board will have access to staff meeting notes, survey results and a discussion forum. Ideally this group will provide feedback, raise concerns, and present new ideas to organizers and staff. We hope that by making this avenue for helping craft RambleGRUE from the ground up we will bring in voices, hear ideas and make changes we had not considered in the past. Staff and Organizers will also work with the Sounding Board throughout the Spring/Early Summer to develop and grow a set of RambleGRUE Community Standards and Expectations.
Members are expected to login at least every couple weeks to read notes and participate in discussion.
Membership is open to anyone who has attended RambleGRUE or another GRUE event in the past and who intends to attend RambleGRUE 4 in September 2018. Members do NOT need to be past or present volunteers or staff. It is our hope that this opportunity brings more perspectives.
This opportunity is a volunteer position with no compensation or discount on registration. Members will not be expected to contribute any time during event. Applicants will be added to the Sounding Board on a rolling basis. Members will be acknowledged in the program of RambleGRUE 4 and throughout the event.
